Goal: Arrange tiles to complete burl patterns on both sides.
This puzzle has a single hidden chamber, accessed by manipulating all tiles on both sides to fully complete an intricate burl pattern. A special “runt tile” removes, producing a space for tiles to be manipulated like a traditional sliding tile puzzle. Breaking from tradition, tiles can also be rotated and exchanged from one side of the box to the other through use of its twisting end. A well-hidden trick will also allow them to lift up and rotate into different orientations within the box.
Once this puzzle is solved, internal logic bars can be flipped over and re-inserted to create an entirely different puzzle solving process. This secondary solution can lock tiles in place, so they can’t move until neighboring tiles are manipulated into certain positions. Managing to free a locked tile will at times also indirectly lock yet another tile in place. This adds to the challenge of an already difficult puzzle.
Puzzles were hand-crafted from leopardwood and walnut, with tiles and sides finished with exotic tamo burl. They measure 7.5” x 4.5” x 4.5” and are limited in edition to only 50 completed boxes.
Most of the work on this box is on the inside. Once solved, the mechanism is completely visible, although it cannot be modified or misaligned in any way.
The box is finished with laquer and then hand waxed and buffed to give the paduak a very nice shine with depth which glimmers when you rotate the box.
There is a clue engraved in the bottom of the box to help you on your way. Each box is signed.
This design won a first prize award in the IPP28 Design Competition.

Made by Eric Fuller and designed by Rick Eason. This puzzle will puzzle you for long time :)
Designed by Stewart Coffin
This is an original packing puzzle, far from being easy
Designed by Volker Latussek. Made by Pelikan
A very tricky packing puzzle. You need to pack the pieces so that the top is flat (so the solution is not as shown as the picture on the left!). Way more difficult than what you think.
Stand by cube 4
Designed by Gregory Benedetti and made by Eric Fuller
Difficult and challenging puzzle.
Shipped assembled for more safety. Perfect condition.
A nice looking puzzle that hides a devilish mechanism.
Please note that the orientation of the magnet on the top of the box is faulty. I mean you cannot close completely the lid as the magnet is positionned on the wrong side.
However this does not provide to solve the puzzle. The magnet has nothing to do with the solution.
Brass baseball bat
Assemble the 6 pieces to make this beautiful sculpture.
It holds by itself. However I recommend to not put fragile objects close to it and to assemble/disassemble carefully and not on/close to fragile surfaces.
The puzzle is shipped disassembled.
A piece of art!!!
Designed by Ken Irvine
Trifecta was Ken's entry for the 2015 IPP design competition. It's a lot of fun, with two different goals: three copies of three different types of pieces assemble to form the given configuration, both with and without the optional three-cube bonus piece. There is a fair amount of confusing movement with disassembly, and reassembly is moderately difficult but a lot of fun
Two-tone Zero by Pelikan
Made by Pelikan and designed by Osanori Yamamoto. A nice and challenging puzzle
An interlocking ball puzzle made by Vinco. More difficult than it looks. Will be shipped assembled like on the picture on the left or disassembled like on the picture on the right (upon choice of the buyer)
Orb by Sonic Game
This is the extreme version of the orb!! Perfect condition.
Shipped with its original leather box and carton box. The puzzle has already been registered. The key has been removed, so I will ship it apart as well.
Toothpick safe by Frank Chambers
Goals: open the box // solve the puzzle that is inside
A rare puzzle that you need to have!!
Tumblebug by Frank Chambers
See the goal in picture below. A nice and very challenging puzzle!
Cubbyx and Cubbox designed an crafted by Zdravko Zivkovic
Heavy wooden packing puzzles. The shapes of the pieces are unusual. Difficult puzzles. Both are different.
Price: €€ (for each)
Sandfield jewel dovetail box
Unusual dovetail puzzle. I don't have the key, but who said it was needed?....or maybe?....
A very original puzzle designed and made by Marcel Gillen long time ago. Why original? Because made of 3 materials: wood (MDF probably), plastic, metal.
The goal is to free the ball. Of course it's doable because the ball was firstly put inside!
Perry McDaniel puzzle box
Super nicely puzzle. Very nicely made!
Zipper puzzle designed by Iwahiro
2 challenges: close one of the 2 color zippers completely // close all the zippers completely
This is an impossible puzzle designed and crafted by Mike Snyder. It's an old puzzle.
The nice thing is that you can play with the nut. The goal is to guess how it has been made.
A nice conversation item!
Big sphere by Vinco
Designed and crafted by Vinco, this puzzle is also nice to display
Difficult to assemble
Will be shipped assembled
Crafted by Mike Snyder
I advise not to take out the treads from the needle. The goal is to guess how it was made.
A nice conversation item.
The lid is somewhat not perfectly cut (proof of handmade work!). So there is a difference of "levelling".
However, this does not provide at all to solve the puzzle. It's just purely aesthetic. This is a very good puzzle, don't miss it!!
Impossible folding by Allen Rolfs
I will provide you a PDF version (so you pay for a PDF, not a hard copy).
Interesting and rare booklet that will teach you the secrets to make impossible foldings!!!
Puzzle crafted by Maurice Vigouroux
It seems to be the famous soma cube
